Recommencement of divine services

Jun 1, 2020 | Covid-19

As restrictions regarding church gatherings have now started to lift, it is now time to plan the recommencement of divine services in our churches.

This has already been discussed in a meeting with our District Rectors and their assistants. For this to happen in an orderly manner, divine services will begin on the same date in each district.

New Zealand congregations
To allow time to conform our churches and halls to the current protocol requirements, we anticipate Sunday divine services will recommence in all congregations on Sunday 21st June. Wednesday evening services will continue to take place online until further notice.

Australian congregations
Within Australia, church services will recommence as the restrictions are lifted by the authorities in each individual state and territory. As more information is made available by the respective leaders, we will make further decisions regarding the commencement date for each district. Until then, all divine services will continue to take place online.
