More congregations to open for divine services

Jun 30, 2020 | Covid-19

The easing of Covid-19 restrictions has meant that the opportunity to gather in our churches and halls can now take place for additional congregations. Within Australia, churches have now been allowed to open in New South Wales, ACT, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and as such divine services have now recommenced in these states and territories.

On Sunday 12th July it is anticipated that divine services will also recommence in churches for congregations in Queensland.

At this stage, only Sunday services will take place in the church buildings. Wednesday evening services will continue to be transmitted online, and all members and guests are invited to connect through the links found here.

In order to maintain the low rates of infection, the government and health authorities have advised that regulations regarding public gatherings must be followed.  A flyer detailing these requirements will be displayed in all churches, and can also be viewed by clicking on this link: Stay safe at church. This, and any additional information, will also be advised to you separately by your rector.
