Reading:
Matthew 23:1–12

Message:
If our words are consistent with our deeds, our faith in Jesus Christ will be convincing.

Summary:

  • There are commonalities between the teachings of the Pharisees and the New Testament.
  • It is not only a problem for the Pharisees but also for us Christians if we do not practise what we preach.
  • Only if we live what we preach can we testify of the gospel in credible fashion.
