YOUNG ADULTS

The 18-35 year age group focuses on those members, whether married or unmarried, who wish to assist in God’s work in whatever way they can. These “young adults” have much to offer in the congregations, and in the broader work at a district level. It is recognised that many have professional skills which can be used in many fields, such as teaching (Sunday school), music development (choir and orchestra), organising events, building and maintenance tasks, and many other disciplines for which they have skills. Additionally, many mentor the younger youth and children through what are sometimes spiritually challenging circumstances in their developing years.

An annual convention is held for this age group in various locations within the district.  Affectionately known as the NACYAC, the weekend brings with it an opportunity for discussion and workshops, as well as a chance to enjoy the social activities that promote and enhance the fellowship among our young adults.
